The NUAS planning group on Research and Innovation is arranging a combined seminar and workshop on measuring the value of Innovation and Research Services to be held in Reykjavik, Iceland, 1-2 December 2016.

Our goal is to offer an excellent seminar and workshop to facilitate a discussion among Nordic univeristies‘ in relation to measuring the quality and performance of research and innovation services.

Our congress venue is the University of Iceland, where Reykjavík’s main attractions are just minutes away, making the venue ideally placed to get the very best from Reykjavik.

A social program is included in the congress but for those willing to make the most of their trip to Iceland a variety of excursions will be made available making it possible to further explore our fantastic Icelandic nature, including waterfalls, geysers and hopefully Northern lights which are most prominent this time of year. In December Reykjavík is lit up in anticipation of Christmas and the shops in downtown Reykjavík display the very best of local art and design. This provides the perfect opportunity to combine the congress with doing some Christmas shoping or simply enjoying the Holliday season.

We look forward to seeing you in Iceland 2016, on behalf of the planning group on Research and Innovation and the Icelandic organising Committee.

Warm regards,

Halldór Jónsson
